Grade UE07: £37,099 to £44,263 per annum (A revised salary range for this grade of £39,347 to £46,974 is planned to take effect from Spring 2024)

College of Medicine & Veterinary Medicine / Research Governance Office

Full-time: 35 hours per week (part-time may be considered)

Contract Type - Fixed-term: for 12-15 months (maternity cover)

We are seeking a Pharmacovigilance Officer to cover maternity leave, working closely with our Pharmacovigilance Manager, to run the Pharmacovigilance service within the Research Governance team.

The Opportunity:

This is a rare and interesting opportunity for a Pharmacovigilance Officer in our department. The successful candidate will contribute to the Pharmacovigilance process, ensuring the University of Edinburgh meets its obligations as a Sponsor of clinical research.

  • Knowledge and understanding of Pharmacovigilance legislation and procedures
  • Knowledge of the clinical trial regulatory framework
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
