* Job Title: Pharmacy Assistant / DispenserBand 3
* Location: Cumbria
* Duration: 6 Months
* Schedule: Full-time (Monday - Friday)
* Start Date: January 2024
* End Date: 6 Months contract initially.
* Rate of pay: �11 - �14 per hour.
* No previous Hospital experience required!
A Day in the Life of a Pharmacy Assistant
As Locum Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting dispensary teams and working on the inpaitent hospital wards.
* You will be required to dispense medications and use the pharmacy IT systems.
* Compare medicines against prescriptions that have been clinically screened by a pharmacist, following the appropriate standard operating procedures.
* Assist both Pharamcists and Pharamcy Techs when necessary.
Requirements and qualifications required for this role:
* Some kind of previous pharmacy experience.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Working hours and contract duration:
This position is full-time (Monday - Friday), with the option of part-time if needed. The contract is initially for 6 Months, begining in December 2023.
