SalaryMy client, a pharmaceutical company based in Watford, are looking for a new, junior, pharmacy dispenser to join their friendly team. This is a Monday - Friday, non-customer facing role, and they are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and self-motivated individual. They offer a generous holiday allowance and would pay all expenses for you to enrol and complete an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Dispensing.
The Location: Watford
The hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 17.30pm
The Salary: £23,000 - £25,000
The role:
- Working with the pharmacy team to prepare and dispense prescriptions.
- Assist with stock control, ordering and restocking.
- Ensuring the prescribing, receipt, stock control, safety and disposal of medicines are of the highest standard and are compliant with relevant policies.
- To assist the Pharmacy Manager/Superintendent in the care and maintenance of equipment
- To be familiar with guidelines for Health and Safety conditions at work, as well as the fire precautions and emergency procedures.
- Labelling and dispensing of patient prescriptions.
The person:
- Must have customer service experience.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must have strong communication skills both written and verbal.
