Salary Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Band 3 Pharmacy Assistant to join an NHS Hospital in the Swansea area. They are looking for people who can work full time, with some shifts covering out of hours/weekends/bank holidays. This is on an initial 3 month contract, with the view of extension.
Key Duties:
Manning the pharmacy reception Assembly and dispensing of items against prescriptions and ward diaries Providing a pharmacy ward top-up service to the allocated ward Receiving stock from suppliers within the pharmacy store Assisting in the delivery and collection of pharmacy items to and from wards and departments To participate in rotas for bank holiday, weekend and extended hours working Complying with all relevant legislation, codes of practice, health board policies and procedures
Requirements:
Previous pharmacy experience (training/short course/work experience accepted) Knowledge of procedures for pharmacy area Experience to Vocational Level 3
