A local north Oxford pharmacy is now looking for a qualifiedPharmacy Dispenser to join them in delivering convenient, high-quality services under a new banner.

The pharmacy is readily accessible – being close to local shops, primary care providers, and public transport links – with a lively, active atmosphere, seeing patients for new and repeat prescriptions, emergency contraception, blood pressure checks, lifestyle consultations and other healthcare services.

The team recently took over the pharmacy and more developments are in the works for the near-future, which will build on the quality of both the pharmacy itself and community healthcare for the area.

As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will assist the Pharmacist with the dispensing of medications, support the sale of OTC medicines and general products (aided by your Counter Assistant colleagues), and help keep things running smoothly for the best possible pharmacy experience.

This is a permanent, part-time position (24-30hrs per week) for a Pharmacy Dispenser.

Person specification:

• (Essential) Level 2 Certificate for Pharmacy Support Staff / NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Service Skills / equivalent dispensing qualification
