Hospital Pharmacy Manager | New Hall Hospital
A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and proactive Lead/Pharmacy Manager to work at New Hall Hospital.
As Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of running a smooth and efficient day-to-day pharmacy service. Duties will include ensuring adherence to medicines optimisation policies and procedures, providing oversight of pharmaceutical stock procurement, providing clinical services to departments eg ward, theatres, outpatients, as well as other associated pharmaceutical duties.
Full training will be provided for local computer systems. You will be supported by a full-time pharmacy technician and a part-time pharmacist on site.
You will not be responsible for on call commitments within this role.
Candidates must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be patient focused. Applications are welcomed from hospital pharmacists, community pharmacists and primary care pharmacists. You must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a pharmacist to be eligible to apply for this post.
The successful candidate will be provided with an induction training programme organised and supported by the Head of Clinical Services and the Corporate Pharmacy Team. Further training opportunities on Leadership are available for the successful candidate via our own Ramsay Academy Programme.
