An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Pharmacy Production Quality Assurance Lead to join our innovative Pharmacy Production unit at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Trust (UHBW)!
We are a diverse unit that holds ‘Specials’ and Investigational Medicinal Product (IMP) licences, is MHRA accredited and carries out aseptic dispensing of products under Section 10 exemption and Pharmacist supervision!
As the Quality Assurance Lead, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, efficacy, and compliance of pharmaceutical products which are manufactured at UHBW Trust. As the Pharmacy Production Quality Assurance Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, efficacy, and compliance of pharmaceutical products manufactured at UHBW Trust.
You will be overseeing the Quality Assurance team within the production department, developing ideas and ensuring that current and future Good Manufacturing Practice and professional standards are achieved.
As the Pharmacy Production Quality Assurance Lead, you will:
- Be responsible for the oversight of the Quality Assurance activity in Pharmacy Production
- Ensure that all regulatory standards are adhered to
- Be responsible for the efficient running of the Pharmacy Quality System (PQS) for Pharmacy Production
- Ensure that all validation activities are completed in a timely manner in line with GMP
- Ensure departmental SOPs are current and compliant with GMP
- Be responsible for product development and ongoing review of current products
- Ensure MHRA and AAPS audit compliance is maintained
