SalaryWe currently have a vacancy for a Healthcare assistant in our busy high street pharmacy in Stockbridge Edinburgh. The role will be largely based in the front shop and we are looking to recruit either one person full time or two people part time.
In your role as Healthcare Assistant you will help ensure that our customers and patients get the best possible service every time they visit. Our pharmacy offers a number of healthcare services and you will be trained to a level that will enable you to be a part of delivering these as well as playing a large part in the sales of our wide ranging front shop.
The job has the following responsibilities:
- Serving Customers
- Collecting and Supplying Prescriptions
- Giving Advice
- Pharmacy Cleaning
- Stock Handling / Checking
- Training to become a Healthcare Assistant
The position has:

- Part-time hours or full time hours considered for the right candidate.
Experience:
- Pharmacy or retail experience preferred
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday although weekend availability required occasionally when needed for holiday cover only
