- Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
- Location: Manchester
- Duration: 6 months
- Schedule: Full-time (Monday - Friday), or part-time
- Start Date: January 2024
- End Date: 6 months contract initially.
- Rate of pay: £15 - £25 per hour dependant on experience.
A Day in the Life of a Pharmacy Technician
As a Band 4/5 Locum Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in covering various hospital wards and assisting dispensary teams.
- Supply medicines to patients and assemble medicines for prescriptions
- Offering advice to patients on the wards
- Screening in the dispensary, inpatients, and outpatients
- Helping the ATOs with checking when needed.
Requirements and qualifications required for this role:
- Current and valid registration with the GPHC as a Pharamcy Technician.
- Previous pharmacy experience, preferably hospital experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Working hours and contract duration:
This position is Monday – Friday, with the option of working 3,4 or 5 days per week. The contract is initially for 6 months (January 2024 – June 2024).
