SalaryA leading national charity are looking for a Philanthropy Executive to join their London team.
Reporting to the Philanthropy Manager with direction from the Assistant Director of Fundraising, Individual Giving and Philanthropy, you will be working as part of a team to deliver the Trust and Major Donor programme, with the emphasis on Trusts.
You will manage a portfolio of Trusts, building the relationships, reporting in a timely fashion, and keeping accurate records. Supported by the Individual Giving and Philanthropy Assistant, you will process and record income and expenditure for Trusts and Major Donors and make sure donors are thanked appropriately.
Identifying and researching prospective Trusts and Foundations, you will develop a pipeline of potential supporters and prepare and deliver proposals in line with the application process. As part of this, you will liaise with the Welfare and Grants team to ensure information for proposals and reports is accurate and up to date.
Assisting the Philanthropy Manager with the Major Donor programme, you will develop and deliver events, research potential partnerships, and devise a robust plan to deliver an ask.
The Philanthropy team is small, and work across all aspects of Trust/Foundations and Major Donors. This will see you work individually on your own portfolio, and as part of the wider team on development plans and larger projects. Teamwork is an essential element of this role.
