Are you an experienced studio photographer looking for a unique opportunity within the Specialist Design Studio?
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on The Old World, The Horus Heresy, Necromunda, Blood Bowl & Middle Earth products, photographing everything from Rulebooks to packaging.
We’re looking for someone who will own their projects, carefully crafting each photograph from start to finish. You’ll need to be organised, creative and a natural collaborator, as you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of photography in every project you work on.
The ideal candidate will be able to supply boundless creativity, seeking new and exciting ways of showcasing Citadel miniatures through photography, as well as taking on board feedback from the wider team. We have an in-house style, but we’re always looking to improve, and you’ll have a real opportunity to have an impact on the products we make. You should also have an extensive working knowledge of the Specialist Design Studio products, and the current range of Citadel miniatures.
Every day is different at Games Workshop, and you’ll need to be adaptable to change. Our products are loved the world over, and you’ll work as part of a team to make sure every product hits the high standard our customers rightly expect. Your day-to-day work will range from composing huge set piece photographs, painstakingly arranging miniatures and scenic elements to create photos that invoke our unique worlds, to creating high resolution shots on white of our miniatures for use on packaging and within books.
You will work in a dedicated photography studio, using industry level equipment to create the best images possible. You will have your own set up, with lights, shooting table, and Apple Macs for editing. You’ll need a deep understanding of working within a studio environment, as well as a high level of proficiency in Photoshop, as you’ll be making all the required edits to your photographs.
If that sounds like a lot of responsibility, it is! For the right candidate this is a huge opportunity to gain experience within the Specialist Design Studio. We are the champions of our creatives, and if you’d like to come and join us, we’d love to hear from you.
