Php Developer

We are delighted to represent our client as they continue to thrive within their sector, and as such require an experienced Software Developer to join their team. This tech company offers multiple products nationwide to their growing market

The successful candidate will be working alongside the development and support teams on existing and new features and functionality for their fully cloud-based platform.

What will you be doing?

• Consistently contribute to continuous improvement to enhance development processes and efficiency.
• Collaborate with other teams and different areas of the business.
• Escalate any issues as/when necessary.
• Work closely and collaboratively with the Product team.
• Document work and keep track of all development progress via Jira.
• Support and encourage new technologies and new ways of working.

What experience do you need?

• Previous commercial experience as a Software Developer working with PHP.
• Experience working with MySQL.
• Sound understanding of GIT.
• Knowledge of Linux based cloud servers.
• Good understanding of AWS.
• Experience testing and debugging existing code.
• Experience working with and using NodeJS would be a bonus.
• Top notch problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines.
