We are looking for a well-rounded, junior to mid level (or exceptional grad) web/software developer to join the VIA Creative team

Requirements

You will be responsible for helping deliver all aspects of web development output through the studio for our wide range of clients in different sectors and industries. You will be expected to have the following skill sets.

You're a dev, you should know this stuff by heart:

• PHP/MySQL
• Object oriented programming
• HTML5/CSS3
• Javascript/jQuery
• Git version control
• Basic server administration (Linux)
• Laravel (or other modern MVC framework)

Nice to have, but not essential:

• ECMAScript 6
• SCSS/SASS or Less
• Grunt or Gulp task runners
• MODx Framework/CMS
• Ansible and Vagrant
• October CMS

Skills

• You will have the essential coding competencies required of a degree (or similar) qualified Web Developer
• You will have at least 1-3 years post graduate commercial agency/studio experience (or have worked in a similar fast-paced design agency) or at least be a dynamic graduate looking for your first agency role
• You have an affinity with all things code, web, social media and digital that working in a creative environment will bring to our clients
• A knowledge of app development is a bonus but not essential
• An understanding of SEO/PPC and associated digital marketing knowledge
• Awareness of general studio protocols including admin/project management/job tracking
