Physics Graduate Teaching Assistant -

We are currently working with a secondary school in Walsall who are expanding their science department and as a result need a Teaching Assistant to join their pastoral team.
The role will involve working in the classroom assisting the teacher but also working with students on a 1:1 basis.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- 1:1 and small group pupil support under the direct supervision of teaching staff.
- Supporting the teacher with managing behaviour and keep pupils on task.
- Helping to create a positive and productive learning environment.
- Supporting pupils in social and emotional well-being.
- Ensuring all pupils feel valued and included in the classroom.
You will need:
- Passion and enthusiasm to shape the next generation.
- Science Degree - 2:2 or above with some expertise in Physics
- Ability to relate well to pupils and adults.
- To have good communication skills
- To be confident, self-assured and happy.
