Role Overview: As a Physics Teacher at Skinners' Academy, you will have the opportunity to teach engaging and innovative lessons that ignite students' curiosity and passion for physics. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, supporting student learning, and fostering a love for the subject.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver dynamic physics lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
- Develop engaging teaching resources and activities that promote active learning and critical thinking.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and initiatives.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school events as required.
- Contribute to the extracurricular life of the school, including supporting student clubs, activities, and events.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Specialization in physics or a related field at the undergraduate or postgraduate level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching physics to secondary school students.
