Role: Physiotherapist
Location: Chelmsford
Salary: 45,000 - 48,900 per annum
Shift Patterns: Mon-Fri, 37 hours PW, 8am-4pm or 08:30am-4:30pm

Are you an experienced Physiotherapist? Would you like the opportunity to be part of a completely new Physiotherapy department? Are you based in or around Chelmsford?

We have a permanent Physiotherapist role available within Essex Police. This role offers the exciting opportunity to be part of a new Physiotherapy provision within the Police force and be part of the key decisions required for a successful Physiotherapy function. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and is passionate, enthusiastic and an advocate for safe practice adhering to HCPC regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Physiotherapy services to internal stakeholders within Essex Police
• Design, develop and deliver proactive injury prevention and reduction sessions for internal stakeholders
• Promote good physical health at Essex Police force events
• Participate in virtual wellbeing sessions promoting good musculoskeletal health in the workplace
• Provide specialist guidance in relation to the operational function of a physiotherapy department
• Develop and maintain appropriate policies, procedures and practises that would adhere to audit requirements
• Manage a referral and record keeping process

Essential requirements:

• Degree in Physiotherapy
• HPCP Registered
• Postgraduate work experience
• Previous experience managing a physiotherapy service in a large multi site organisation
• Strong communication, planning and organisation skills
• Enthusiasm and eagerness to build a physiotherapy function from scratch and apply recommendations, consultation and implementation
• Good knowledge of MS office, in particular: Word, Excel and Outlook

Desirable requirements:

• Driving licence and use of a car
• Knowledge of The Police internal structure and their internal functions
• Post qualification experience
