• We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Locum Physiotherapist to join our Falls Prevention Team on a temporary basis. As a member of our dynamic healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in assessing, treating, and preventing falls in our patient population. The successful candidate will bring expertise in physiotherapy, particularly in the context of falls prevention, to contribute to the overall well-being and safety of our community.
• Physiotherapist Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify risk factors for falls, including gait analysis, balance testing, and functional mobility assessments.
• Develop and implement individualised physiotherapy treatment plans to address identified risk factors and improve overall strength, balance, and mobility.
• Physiotherapist Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic care and ensure a comprehensive approach to falls prevention.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises, strategies, and lifestyle modifications to reduce the risk of falls and enhance overall well-being.
• Provide ongoing monitoring and reassessment of patients to track progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of falls prevention programs and initiatives within the community.
• Physiotherapist Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in falls prevention and physiotherapy to enhance the quality of care provided.
• Qualified Physiotherapist
