Picker Packer

Are you an experienced Pick and Pack Operator? Do you consider yourself to be proactive and an asset to a busy team? Are you based in or around Milton Keynes?

We have a temporary Pick and Pack Operator role available within DS Smith's Packaging site. This is a temporary assignment to assist with a short term project. The successful applicant will be required to be fully available for one month from the start date at the hours shown below.

Role: Pick and Pack Operators

Location: DS Smith Packaging, Andersen Gate, Snellshall West, Milton Keynes MK4 4AE

Rate: £12ph

Contract length: 1 month

Shift Patterns: Monday-Friday 08:00-16:30 (overtime potentially available)

Start: 21st February 2024

Responsibilities:

• Transferring product from pallet to display
• Ensuring correct quantity of product is picked for orders
• Restocking pick locations as required
• Adhering to Health and Safety legislation at all times
• General Housekeeping duties in the pick area

Essential requirements:

• Previous experience as a Pick and Pack Operator in a Warehouse environment
• Ability to conduct manual handling and be on your feet for long periods of time
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good knowledge of Health and Safety legislation

Desirable requirements:

• Driving licence and use of a car
• Knowledge of DS Smith as an organisation
