Responsibilities:
- Install and repair underground pipelines for water, sewer, and drainage systems
- Dig trenches using hand tools and power equipment
- Lay pipes and connect them using welding techniques
- Ensure proper alignment and grade of pipes
- Install and repair valves, fittings, and other pipeline components
- Test pipelines for leaks and make necessary repairs
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Pipelayer or similar role preferred
- Proficient in using hand tools and power equipment
- Knowledge of welding techniques for pipe connections
- Familiarity with mechanical systems and electrical components in pipeline installations
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
