About the Company: My Client, a leading HVAC company, is seeking a motivated and Pipefitter Labourer.Position Overview:
As a Pipefitter Mate, you will play a crucial role in supporting our lead engineers on threaded steel work pipe projects. This is a contract position based in the Southampton area.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist lead engineers in the installation, maintenance, and repair of threaded steel work pipe systems.
2. Work collaboratively with the project team to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
3. Perform manual tasks such as cutting, threading, and fitting steel pipes according to project specifications.
4. Assist in the assembly and disassembly of threaded connections, ensuring proper alignment and tightness.
5. Safely operate hand and power tools relevant to the trade.
6. Follow established safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
7. Provide general support to the project team as needed.
Requirements:
1. Pipefitters Mate/Labourer experience (ideal but not essential)
2. Ability to take direction
3. Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to safety
4. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
5. ECS/CSCS CardContract Details:
- Duration: 12 months
- Daily Rate: 110
