Pipefitter/Fabricator

Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who are looking to add a Pipefitter/Fabricator to their team on a permanent basis. You’ll be based in the Loanhead area.

Hours: Monday – Thursday 7am – 4.45pm (37hrs)

Salary: £31K (starting salary)

Daily Duties –

• Prepare plate, pipe, and associated fittings in accordance with technical drawing
• Cut, match-bore, and set-up pipe work and other fabrications for being welded
• Provide support to welder, positioning products correctly to achieve tolerances and relevant weld procedure
• Record all rework/repairs and report to Supervisor if there are any issues

Candidate Requirements –

• Previous experience within a heavy fabrication environment
• Time served Fabricator/Pipefitter with recognised apprenticeship
• Able to use hand and power tools to cut, shape and fit materials accurately
