Pipework Contracts Engineer

We are looking for a Pipework Contracts Engineer for our client based in Grimsby. You will be required to support the coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects and work scopes ensuring consistency with company strategy, objectives and goals. Your activities will support the development of new business opportunities to provide a continuous pipeline of revenue for the company.

Responsibilities:

The key duties of the post are as follows: -

• Maintain a healthy, safe and productive working environment, ensuring that staff have the health and safety skills necessary to suit the job requirements.
• To be responsible for the overall organisation and control of all work ensuring it is carried out in association with project specific data (Time, Costs & Quality).
• To ensure production targets are met along with delivery and installation requirements for each project as required. To support the client in relation to their project requirements
• To facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
• To provide clear and concise direction on the project quality requirements
• To support the development of quotations and estimates for projects
• To support planning and implementation of project deliverables
• To define project tasks and resource requirements, assisting in the development of plans
• To liaise with the team to assemble and coordinate project staff
• To focus on project budget, ensuring accounting, costing and billing for the project is accurate and up to date
• To provide direction and support to project team
• To monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
• To manage project change
• To assist in recruiting and management of specialists and sub-contractors
