Placement Officer

Job description
Do you have a Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or Childcare? Are you looking to support the new generation of practitioners? We are seeking to recruit an experienced, highly motivated, forward thinking Placement Officer. Based at our Aylesbury campus, this role involves working 18.5 hours per week, Term Time only
The successful candidate will:
To liaise with and support lecturers in delivering practical training and evaluating work experience in a variety of environments.
Support curriculum staff by liaising on work experience placement issues, and work to resolve them.
Keep accurate records of placement locations, support visits and student attendance.
To carry out assessments of students work ensuring regular reviews of students’ progress and achievement.
