The role holder will be joining Wood’s Marketing & Communications team in the Aberdeen head office working closely with Wood’s Social Media Lead to:
- Help manage Wood’s social media channels with more than 1.2m followers
- Monitor and engage with messages and comments on Wood’s LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter accounts
- Liaise with the wider marketing & communications team on social media best practice
- Analyse performance of content on channels
- Conduct competitor analysis across social media channels
- Support Early Careers and recruitment teams to develop content and craft compelling recruitment campaigns
- Assist Creative Services team with repurposing video for social media platforms
- Work with Internal Communications team on cultural activity, creating content for social media
- Drive forward Wood’s Instagram strategy and encourage stakeholders to create user-generated content
- Develop content for our inspiring culture campaign - #TheRemarkables
- There will also be an opportunity to work with our wider marketing and communications team on various projects
- Social media marketing experience – use of LinkedIn and Instagram in particular. This may be through previous work experience or demonstration of content creation on your personal social media channels
- Passion for creating digital content
- Understanding of the digital marketing landscape and the role social media plays in creating value in a B2B environment
- Experience in creating video content would be an advantage, or a demonstrable interest to learn
- Experience of Photoshop or Adobe Premier Pro or other video editing software would be an advantage, but not essential
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Good organisational skills
- Keen eye for attention to detail
