Planned Preventative Maintenance Officer
£40,000 - £50,000 per annum (DOE) with Individual and Company Bonus Schemes
Full Time (40 Hours)
Office based In Droitwich with Hybrid Working Arrangements available
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Maintenance Professional to join a well-established company. You will be working on commercial buildings supporting the Property Team in managing and overseeing the delivery of planned maintenance activities within a high-quality national portfolio of commercial developments.
This is a hybrid role incorporating office based maintenance program production, site based maintenance activity inspections and audits of maintenance compliance. This is a new role and will allow the successful candidate to develop systems that will proactively contribute to the delivery of high quality leisure services.
The Opportunity
Parkwood Project Management is responsible for planning, implementing and delivering Planned Preventive Maintenance Services, Statutory Testing Services and Reactive Maintenance across a portfolio of leisure facilities. Services are delivered using a mix of specialist subcontractors and directly employed maintenance operatives. The successful candidate will coordinate all of Parkwood Projects Managements obligations and provide high quality technical support in relation to Facilities Maintenance. Supporting the Senior Team the roles primary duties include:
  • Design and implement planned schedules of programmed maintenance for our facilities and assets
  • Oversee the use of the integrated property management databases
  • Overseeing and auditing the delivery and quality of regional maintenance activities
  • Management of regional subcontractors
  • Provide technical support in relation to the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance
  • Monitoring the performance of critical assets through regular inspection and condition assessments
  • Working in conjunction with the Projects Team and Lifecycle Managers to identify replacement cycles and deliver upgrades
  • Leading the development and implementation of maintenance strategies to optimise asset performance, minimising downtime, and ensuring our compliance with all regulatory requirements

Required Skills
  • Experience as a Planned Maintenance Officer
  • Excellent technical knowledge of BMS and HVAC systems
  • Understanding of the regulatory requirements and SFG20
  • A collaborative and `can do' attitude towards solving problems in a professional manner
