The Opportunity
Our leading engineering provider has an exciting opportunity for you to join their dynamic team as an experienced Planner / Planning Engineer. As a key member of the Project Control Team, you will be responsible for developing and monitoring schedules and project progress control tools that meet the company's requirements.
Our client is an international energy and environment consultancy providing innovative multidisciplinary solutions to a global market. With over 35 years of experience, they have been serving the requirements of a multi-national client base from their team of industry-leading experts. As leaders in the energy and environment sector, they have developed complimentary consulting and engineering capabilities comprising innovation, multi-disciplined consultancy, engineered solutions, and education and up-skilling.
6 month duration
Salary 45-55 Ltd Per hour (SME status)
Part time hours only - 3 days per week (24 hours)
The Role
As a Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for reporting to the Projects Control Manager and working as an integral part of the Project Control Team and working with relevant Project Managers, the Planning Engineer shall be actively involved in the day to day delivery of allocated projects.
as well as helping to develop and monitor schedules and project progress control tools that meet the company's requirements, ensuring that all required reporting and administration deadlines are achieved.
You Will Have the Following Qualifications & Experience

  • Project planning / controls experience
  • Ideally educated to a higher level or equivalent in engineering discipline.
  • demonstrate excellent organisational, time management and decision-making skills.
  • Project experience in nuclear, oil and gas, petrochemicals, chemicals or renewable energy industries.
  • Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of planning / project controls software (Primavera P6 and MS Project)
  • The ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience in sustainability and environment sectors.
  • Experience in working with international clients.
