Planning Associate

The role entails supporting partners in the Planning practice to deliver substantial energy and infrastructure projects, development consent orders (DCO), compulsory purchases and compensation matters, planning applications and appeals, s36 consents, marine licenses, EIA and HRA, public local inquiries, roads law matters, judicial review, asset protection matters, and major real estate and energy/infrastructure transactions.
You'll be actively involved in major projects and transactions, collaborating with colleagues throughout the firm, including the broader Real Estate and Energy teams. The team is renowned for representing some of the largest developers, energy companies, utilities, and public sector bodies, currently handling several high-profile DCO and major project mandates.
Operating on a UK-wide basis, this opportunity can be tailored to focus exclusively on major projects in England & Wales, exclusively in Scotland, or a mix across the UK.
