Planning Capability Lead (P6)

Astute's Nuclear team is partnering with a large UK defence client to recruit a Planning Capability Lead (P6) on a 12-month contract (Hybrid) for its Bristol site.
The Planning Capability Lead (P6) role comes with an hourly rate of up to 80.00 per hour (inside of IR35).

• Significant experience of project planning & scheduling management, control techniques and approaches.
• Significant experience in the use, administration and database maintenance of scheduling toolsets such as P6 (preferred) and MSP.
• Comprehensive experience of delivering/leading planning & scheduling management within projects and programmes for large and technically complex equipment or system delivery contracts.
• Experience of using, or working alongside, related Project Controls software tools (or similar) such as Active Risk Manager, RiskHive, Deltec Cobra, Safran or Primavera Risk Analyser etc.
• Experience of implementing / working within project planning & scheduling related governance frameworks that align to the Association for Project Management
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to interact successfully at all levels.
• Experience of using ERP systems, including IFS (or similar) is desirable.

Location, remuneration and timeframe of the Engineering Manager role

• Role is a hybrid role with Bristol as the main site
• Position is inside IR35 and offers a rate of up to 80.00p/h (DOE)
• 52-week contract Successful applicants will need to be SC clearable
