As a Planning Coordinator you will be responsible for scheduling and invoicing orders as well as demand planning. You will work very closely with the production planning and logistics teams and therefore will hold strong communication skills and be able to build strong relationships.
Main Duties
- Support the planning and purchasing managers in maintaining and developing the planning processes.
- Manage new customer orders
- Collaborate with commercial colleagues to apply market knowledge and customer intelligence to planning decisions.
- Proactively seek the information to improve the forecast and chase information required to complete the process
- Develop and maintain Weekly/Monthly OTIF and other key KPI reports.
- Support product availability through inventory management.
- Ensure key stakeholders are updated on key product availability.
Skills and Knowledge
- Effective communication and team skills
- It is a minimum requirement that you have at least 12 months experience in a manufacturing environment completing a similar role
- Experience of demand planning, forecasting, data analytics and report creation would be an advantage
- Good understanding of MRP or ERP based planning systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
