Osborne Richardson is delighted to be working with an experienced planning practice who are looking for a Planning Director to join their team. The successful candidate will be experienced, capable and passionate about planning.
The company
They have over 25 years' experience in providing a tailored service to clients including individuals, companies and public organisations. They have been involved in a diverse range of planning projects across many sectors such as residential, retail, strategic, leisure, commercial, education, agriculture, and rural estates and heritage.
The role specifics
The key purpose of the position is to take on a leadership role on planning projects, and coordinating and overseeing projects with help from the existing planning team. You'll undertake business development by building on existing client relationships and actively seeking opportunities for future business.
As part of this role, you will demonstrate effective management and assist with the development of staff. You must ensure client expectations are managed appropriately and successfully, establishing and building on these relationships.
Role requirements
All applicants must have an RTPI accredited degree or Masters in a related discipline. You will also need to be a chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
You should also have considerable experience working in the planning field to be successful in your application, ideally including experience in leading a team and managing other staff.
Reward
You'll be offered a salary ranging between £80,000 - £100,000 per annum for this role, depending on your experience and qualifications. The role also comes with full benefits.
