Location:Glascoed, South Wales

Salary: Up to £55,000 depending on skills and experience

What you'll be doing:

• Leading the Glascoed material Planning & Logistics team, this includes development of the detailed material schedule aligned to the critical path and master schedule plans, utilising knowledge of the end-to-end planning process to develop robust plans
• Working cross functionally as part of the Planning & Logistics team to agree and execute the master plan from a planning perspective, developing and agreeing performance measures
• Leading the development of capacity balancing and scenario testing against near term risks to develop alternative approaches
• Ensuring demand is reviewed and suppliers enabled to ensure effective monitoring of material availability to ensure adherence to the Master Schedule, including coordination of Schedules to suppliers, ensuring P&L Data is accurate
• Responsible for the leadership of Glascoed stores ensuring appropriate governance is in place to support business policies
• Ensuring that governance and assurance is in place, taking into account product safety and relevant business and customer requirements and processes (in line with Business BMS), including but is not limited to, the management of explosives on site

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

• Significant experience in working in a Planning & Logistics role
• High standard of planning competence in key areas of master schedule management, demand management, capacity planning
• Cross functional stakeholder management skills

Desirable:

• Experienced in ERP toolset application from a planning perspective (preferably SAP)
• Background in explosive management

The Planning and Logistics team:

An exciting new opportunity to be part of our Planning and Logistics Team in Glascoed. You will be responsible for leading and developing the planning and logistics team, ensuring resources are deployed in the most effective manner. You will be leading the development and execution of material plans and work collaboratively with other functions. You will also be responsible for the development of your team ensure the teams are developed in line with both functional requirements and changing business needs.
