Planning Manager - Solar/BESS (DCO & TCPA) - Bristol or London - up to £70k
I'm working with an international solar & BESS IPP to add their first in-house Planning Manager to look after their external planning team and eventually grow into their Head of Planning.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to step into a brand new function for a company with a significant portfolio, and 6 projects to get your teeth sunk into immediately!
You would also be stepping in to assist on a JV which this company has as well. The work would be varied and you would never get bored, and would get a chance to be fully immersed in a multitude of projects, as well as exploring new areas for the business!
What would your role look like and not be limited to?:
- Reviewing planning applications, working through appeals, and attending planning meetings.
- Ensuring quick determination is done on any outstanding applications.
- Working with the internal team to give planning advice and dealing with reviews.
- Managing the external planning team.
- Signing off on all planning statements.
- Attending meetings to represent the company.
- Working on discharge of conditions.
- Tracking budgets and reporting on them.
