SalaryWe are working with a Local Authority in the Oxfordshire Region looking for a Planning Lawyer to join their department for an initial 3-month period.
The successful candidate must be UK qualified and have upwards of 12 months’ experience in:
- Planning law matters
- Highways experience is essential
Expertise in dealing with a wide range of matters including:
- Drafting and advising in respect of S.106 Agreements, CIL, Certificates of Lawful Use and other planning related legal matters Ensuring the organisation complies with current legislation and best practice Attending meetings of members, officers and/or external bodies to advise on legal issues, governance and procedure
You will need to have experience of handling your own legal caseload.
The Council offers a flexible working environment. Previous planning legal experience in a local authority is essential.
Pay rate is between £40-55 per hour.
The local authority is looking for a candidate to start as soon as possible. Due to the urgent nature of the role, we are looking to speak to candidates available on no more than 2 weeks’ notice.
