Who are enfinium?

As one of the UK’s leading energy from waste operators, enfinium is supporting our country’s journey to a Net Zero economy. We do this by operating and developing six decarbonisation hubs around the UK, where we use waste that would otherwise go to landfill to generate homegrown energy.


This is a very exciting new opportunity to join enfinium and the Skelton Grange team at its infancy throughout the end of construction and see the site through commissioning and into being an operational EfW.


This role is due to commence in March 2024 alongside the rest of the management team.


Skelton Grange is an energy from waste facility in Leeds in construction. Once completed, it will process up to 410,000 tonnes of residual waste and use it to generate 49MW (gross) of renewable baseload electricity per annum. This is enough energy to power more than 100,000 UK homes.

What is the role?

Our Plant Administrator will provide a range of general office management and document management support to the site.


Your general day-to-day will be providing administration support for the Plant Manager and Senior Management team, as well as other departments on and off site, including, a key function of this role will be to liaise with and maintain a good working relationship with the Local Authorities in support of Plant Management, and to also act as first line liaison and support tour groups during official site visits.

What you will be doing?

Please see below a brief overview of the role and the responsibilities

  • Understands reporting timetables and assist relevant managers to ensure that all reports, whether internal at site and enfinium or external to Councils and regulators, are completed accurately, in full and on time.
  • Maintains records of queries, complaints and compliments in relation to plant site operations.
  • Organises electronic and hard copy copying and filing as appropriate to support administrative systems to ISO 9001 standards.
  • Deals with visitor requests and facilitate site tours as requested. (may require occasional evening/weekend support) and organises and supports with resources, refreshments and facilities, meetings held at site.
  • Oversees office equipment and general services to ensure office equipment is safe and working correctly and stationary and office supply stocks are kept to required levels.
  • Answers and responds to incoming telephone calls, routing to relevant Managers as required.
  • Provides admin support to Plant Management for key meetings, in the form meeting organisation and planning, such as: agenda preparation, notetaking, report writing, presentation preparation & other appropriate relevant duties to enable meetings to run efficiently.
  • Provides general admin and PA support to senior management team as required


Essential Skills and experience

  • Communicates clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
  • Good people skills, able to communicate effectively at all levels within the business and outside.
  • Comfortable handling data in a variety of forms and using it to produce management reports.
  • Computer literate with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and Powerpoint particularly).
  • Willingness to learn and attend appropriate courses
