*Responsibilities for the Plant Engineer :*
* *Equipment Maintenance and Optimization:*
* Manage and coordinate the maintenance and repair activities for all plant equipment, ensuring maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.
* Conduct regular inspections and implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of machinery.
* *Process Improvement:*
* Identify areas for improvement in production processes and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements.
* Analyze data and performance metrics to optimize plant operations and achieve production goals.
* *Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution:*
* Respond promptly to equipment failures or malfunctions, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions.
* Collaborate with maintenance technicians to address technical challenges and minimize disruptions to production.
* *Health and Safety Compliance:*
* Ensure that all plant activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
* Implement and promote a strong safety culture within the plant.
* *Capital Projects:*
* Participate in the planning and execution of capital projects related to plant infrastructure and equipment upgrades.
* Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful implementation within established timelines and budgets.
* *Documentation and Reporting:*
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and modifications.
* Generate reports on plant performance, equipment reliability, and maintenance activities.
*Qualifications for the for the Plant Engineer:*
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Plant Engineer, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
* Strong knowledge of plant operations, machinery, and maintenance practices.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to lead and work collaboratively with a diverse team.
* Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
