People Solutions are looking for a Plant Fitter for our Client based in West Lothian.

Day to Day Duties
- Carrying out general maintenance, servicing and pre hire checks of generators and towed equipment
- Booking spare parts and filters from stores to make sure stock is correctly maintained
- Diagnosing and carrying out repair work to single and multi cylinder diesel engines
- Carrying out annual inspections to towed equipment to meet company compliance policies
Essential Skills
- NVQ in either Mechanics / Plant Fitting / Generator Fitting or similar
- Minimum 2 years experience working with diesel engines
- Previous experience working with generators
- Must supply own tools
Desirable Experience
- A good knowledge of towed equipment is desirable
- A good knowledge of 12v and 240v electrical systems

Health and Safety Training on first day of starting
