Based in the Belfast area my client is a very successful and renowned dealership who sell a variety of heavy and light plant based machinery. One of their current Plant Fitters has decided to emigrate and therefore they are seeking to replace him. To be suitable you must have recent “hands on” experience working as a Plant Fitter in either a plant dealership, plant hire, building / civil contracting, fork lift, agricultural equipment or similar environment. On offer is a market leading rate, paid overtime, van, laptop, tool allowance, mobile, pension and OEM training courses. They are open to applicants from all countries across Northern Ireland. Third and Fourth year apprentices are also welcome to apply.
Role – Plant Fitter
- Carrying out service, repair, maintenance and inspections on a range of state of the art construction machinery.
- Diagnosing faults.
- Carrying out warranty repairs.
- Visual inspections, adjustment operations and testing.
- Stripping fitting and replacing components on construction machinery.
- Fully conversant with machinery hydraulics and electrics.
- Responsible for the fitting of mechanical/ hydraulic components on new and used construction vehicles/machinery.
