Plant Fitter - Earthmoving - Relocate To Perth, Australia

Opportunity Brief:

After an incredibly successful campaign earlier in the year, Atom Resources are once again delighted to be partnering with Centrals in the search for 5 x Mobile Plant Fitters to Relocate to Perth Australia.

The successful applicants will Relocate to Perth, Australia, around April - July 2024 and will form part of the Companies core maintenance team.

Central earthmoving will be visiting London, Birmingham, and Dublin between March 1st – 8th to conduct interviews.

Centrals are well suited to somebody who is a tenacious self-starter, who readily takes accountability for the successful delivery of company tasks, ensuring a world class experience for the customer.

Summary of Contracts and Equipment

Projects are typically in regional areas of Western Australia, and employees work on a 2 week on, 1 week off basis.

1. Civil construction for Main Roads Western Australia
   1. Lane widenings / overtaking lanes / general maintenance
       
2. Mine site services for many tier 1 and 2 mining clients, including;
   1. Access roads
   2. Detailed earthworks including, excavation, trenching, trimming and compaction.
   3. Bulk Earthworks
   4. Stormwater management including installation of RC / CSP pipes and culverts
   5. Tailings Dams and reservoirs

1. Typical Equipment to be maintained includes
   1. Dozers – Cat D6 – D10
   2. Loaders – Cat and Komatsu
   3. Excavators – Cat
   4. Graders – Cat – 14/16
   5. Rollers
   6. Water Carts

Mobile Plant Fitter

Reporting to the Field Services Manager, you will be required to perform diagnostics, as well as planned and reactive maintenance on Centrals fleet. This may include.

• Oil leak checks and repairs, including, hydraulic hoses, brake lines, engine oil and coolent.
• Replacement of park, load, retarder and secondary brake systems
• Steering column and ram repairs.
• Blade, ripper, teeth, shrouds and bucket lip repair and replacemen

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 3 Years’ experience repairing heavy earthmoving equipment
• Trade qualified Mobile Plant Fitter or equivalent
• Fantastic attitude with a safety always comes first mindset.

Remuneration and Benefits:

• FIFO position working two weeks on and one week off
• $150k – 165k + Super (Australian Dollars)
• 20 days starting AL, increasing to 25 after 1 years’ service.
• Business visa, flights to Australia, relocation assistance and 90 days temporary accommodation provided.
• Face to face interviews will commence March 1st 2024.
