SalaryIsla Rose is recruiting for an experienced Plant Manager on behalf of an established business in Stoke. As a Plant Manager, you will be responsible for the immobilisation plant department at a hazardous waste site, managing a multi skilled team to achieve business goals. Experience within hazardous waste management is preferred but not essential. Applicants must be educate to degree level within Chemistry or a similar field.
This role is available on a permanent contract.
Key Duties
- Manage incoming consignments
- Manager labour and resources
- Ensure testing is completed correcting
- Liaise with transport companies
- Support development projects
- Risk assessments
- Ensure safe loading and unloading
- Promote HSE policies
- Ensure waste storage is compliant
- Lead and strengthen the plant team
Experience/qualifications
- Hazardous waste preferred
- HNC or degree in Chemistry or similar
- Office packages
- Management
The working week will be Monday to Friday.
The salary for this role will be around 35000.
