About the role:
Astute’s Renewables team has been retained by a key business and influential player in the global biogas market. The company offer a diverse range of services to this market, including design and build of assets as long as running O&M contracts too. We’re looking for a Plant Supervisor to join a well-performing asset to continue to drive it forward.

This Plant Supervisor comes with a salary of around �50,000 and an excellent package too.

Responsibilities and duties:
Reporting to the Plant Manager you will:

* Supervise day to day operations of the Anaerobic Digestion and effluent treatment plants
* Look for continuous improvement opportunity across the assets, using data to drive these decisions too
* Implement and manage site-wide protocols around HSE, feedstock handling and management as well as ensuring minimum standards from the team
* Work with the plant manager to instil a best-practice mentality across the site
* Continue to develop and implement effective PPM schedules, challenging the status quo to ensure optimal biogas yield
* Inspect, document and report on defective or faulty equipment
* Encourage team development and help to develop the Operator’s skillsets
* Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, safety standards and permit requirements
* Prepare reports for regulatory agencies, management and key stakeholders
* Other duties as required

Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:

* A higher education in a relevant discipline, ie Engineering (mech, elec, process etc)
* A UK driving licence
* Previous experience on biogas / Anaerobic Digestion / gas to grid plants
* Previous supervisory experience is hugely desired

Personal skills:
The Health and Plant Manager role would suit someone who is:

* A creative thinker
* Someone who is a natural leader and can gain trust and buy-in from the team
* Someone who will be proactive

Salary and benefits of the Regional Manager role:

* Up to circa �50,000 starting salary

* Discussions to be had to assist with relocation if absolutely essential
