Form of workWhitehall Garden Centre is a family run and award winning business. An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of an inspirational team as a Full Time Plant Supervisor at our Whitchurch Garden Centre.
The ideal candidate will ideally have a passion for customer service, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and great motivation are essential to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Working 4 days between Monday to Friday and alternate weekends.
Plant Supervisor responsibilities;
- Sales opportunities are generated through interaction with customers and use of plant knowledge
- Ensuring all customers are greeted and offered assistance
- Handling customer queries courteously and efficiently
- Identifying customers plant needs through interaction, and taking appropriate action
- Excellent standard of merchandising and housekeeping are established and maintained in accordance with company guidelines
- Co-operates fully with the Centre Management Team and Directors
- All products are accurately priced and labelled in accordance with Company Policy
- Controls wastage, damage and returns ensuring credit notes are raised where applicable
- Ensure personal compliance with Whitehall’s H&S guideline
- Maintains a harmonious and cooperative relationship with staff, managers and third parties
- Ensures that stock is cared for appropriately
- Provide assistance with regular stock take exercises as and when required
- Carry out all reasonable duties as requested
