Automotive Aftermarket Leader in Coventry is recruiting for a Workshop Plant Technician.

• A basic salary of £27,000
• Employer pension contributions increase to 5% after 12 months.

Your Role Unveiled:

Imagine spearheading the diagnostic testing of heavyweight champions of machinery. On a typical day, you’re assessing the condition of a product, diligently stripping units according to our precise work instructions and ensuring MoD requirements are met to the letter. Each component you come across undergoes your expert evaluation, determining its functionality and necessity.

Once you’ve identified the viability and availability of parts, you meticulously assemble and test the product, ensuring it meets OE specifications. Any faults detected? You'll be coordinating closely with the Workshop Supervisor to decide the next course of action. With an emphasis on consistently high-quality work, you'll be the guardian of our standards, ensuring health and safety, quality, and procedural compliance across the board.

You:

• Has experience in repair & maintenance of Military vehicles or similar equipment.
• Bring engine & transmission strip & build expertise to the table.
• Possesses impeccable communication skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Is proficient in MS Office (especially MS Excel) or is eager to get there.
• Showcases robust organisational skills and can manage multiple tasks seamlessly.
• Holds a valid driving licence.
