Plant/Hgv Mechanic

Your new company
A well established construction company is looking for a Plant/HGV Mechanic to look after their fleet of vehicles and plant machinery out of their premises based in the Portadown area.

Your new role
You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnostics and repair work on plant machinery including excavators, dumpers, rollers etc. along with their HGV and LGV fleet.

Some of your duties will include:
* Servicing and breakdown repairs
* MOT Preparation
* Diagnose faults
* Call out for breakdowns on site and on the road when required
* Working closely with the team and helping manage the workshop

The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be required to:
* Be a time-served mechanic
* Have previous experience of working on plant machinery and HGV/LGV fleets
* Have a full driving licence
* Have previous experience in managing other mechanics (desirable but not essential)
* Good awareness of health and safety requirements
