Position Overview:

This will suit a person who wants to provide technical leadership and valuable input into future roadmap of our service delivery function. Someone with a view to learn, progress and mentor. This role is as much about foresight and forward thinking as it is working with the current crop of technology. We are looking for someone who is interested in planning, adapting with a strong background in Software development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the squad in aligning with strategic objectives and delivering results.
• Define and communicate the squad's mission, roadmap, and priorities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize client needs and drive innovation.
• Evaluate and communicate results to drive continuous improvement.
• Foster a culture of learning and collaboration within the squad.
• Engage with product teams to streamline platform usage and accelerate feature delivery.
• Make informed decisions to balance quality, cost, and timelines.

Requirements:

• To be considered for this position applicants must be eligible to work and reside in Ireland (holder of an EC Passport or a Current Stamp 4 Visa).
• Bachelor’s Degree in a technology-related field.
• Experience both architecting and in software development.
• 8+ years' experience in Streaming technology (Kafka, Redpanda, etc.).
• Proficiency in at least one public cloud service provider.
• Strong understanding of internet security protocols.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and experience in a production environment.
• Demonstrated leadership skills ability to strategically plan.
