The Role: Platform Sales Consultant
An exciting opportunity to join the sales team within the M&G Wealth platform in a newly created Platform Sales Consultant role.
We are looking for someone who demonstrates passion to help customers to achieve great outcomes and support our committed advisers and create a great experience.
As a Platform Sales Consultant you will help Financial Advisers strengthen and grow their business and make M&G Wealth their provider of choice, helping both them and their clients achieve positive outcomes. You will work in partnership with the Sales and Adoption team to achieve their growth ambition and deliver their sales targets.
Our aim is to build trust and confidence with our advisers, developing and nurturing our relationships, through our knowledge and experience in order to deliver the collective business objectives.
This role presents a great opportunity to build extensive knowledge on our wide range of propositions, working alongside talented individuals, and is a great place to work to support your career development and professional qualifications aspirations.
The role is based at our Stirling, Edinburgh or Bath office. After an initial training period a hybrid model of working is implemented, with 3 days a week in the office and 2 days per week working from home.
Key Responsibilities for this role:
  • Ensuring escalation process is supported and advisers key queries and managed efficiently
  • Support bulk migration projects and ensure the adviser firm have a great experience
  • Liase with Operations and Sales regarding bottle necks in new business/money in/claims and pro actively engage with internal stakeholders and adviser firms to resolve and unblock
  • Support small firms onboarding and demos on platform
  • Communicating with internal stakeholders

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • Experience of working in a customer facing role is essential
  • Experience of working within Financial Services is desirable, where you will have developed a commercial mindset
  • Resilient, confident and enthusiastic
  • Excellent communication skills- telephone/Teams meetings
  • Ability to work well under pressure, remaining calm to handle objections, demonstrating an ability to 'think outside the box'
  • Can work independently and as part of a team, with the ability to plan, prioritise and organise workload on an inter-daily basis, dynamically responding to the requirements of the role
  • Demonstrates accountability and ownership for delivery
  • Effective communication skills with an ability to interpret and articulate requirements, resolve issues and manage complex/technical enquiries
