We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Play Workers. As a Play Worker, you will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment for children to play and learn. Duties:
- Supervise and interact with children during playtime activities
- Plan and organize age-appropriate games, crafts, and recreational activities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care
- Assist with snack time and mealtime routines
- Maintain a clean and organized play area
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress or any concerns
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or recreational setting is preferred
- Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate activities
- Ability to engage and connect with children of various ages
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Skills:
- Patience and understanding when working with children
- Creativity in planning engaging activities
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to adapt to different situations and handle unexpected challenges
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
