Playteam Leader

Hours: 37 hours per week across a 6-day pattern

Salary: Range £25,000 - £27,000 per annum

The Yard is a leading Scottish charity working with children and young people aged 0-25 with Additional Support Needs, and their families, through adventure play sessions in Edinburgh, Dundee and Kirkcaldy. We offer creative and inclusive play experiences in a well-supported environment, alongside wraparound support for the whole family. We provide a varied programme including youth clubs, respite, early years, schools and family play sessions. We believe in fostering communities of friendship and peer support without judgement.

Job Details

The purpose of this role is to successfully supervise and deliver a range of inclusive social, recreational and adventure play-based activities both at The Yard and in the wider community, with the rest of the play team. We are looking for creative and resilient individuals capable of leading a team, creating innovative and engaging activities and supporting the needs and interests of our children and young people.

The role also involves ensuring all relevant compliance and service administrative tasks are completed.
