We are seeking 2 Playworkers for the Before and After School club to join our team of dedicated staff.
The role will involve working under the guidance of the Playleaders to support the personal development of students outside of school hours. The successful candidate will need to have a good understanding of child development.
The skills we are looking for include the ability to meet individual needs of the children in their care, to provide and facilitate safe and creative play and the ability to work upon own initiative.
Our latest Ofsted inspection was good (Dec 2018) and we are looking to continue in our journey towards achieving the very best for all our pupils.
The successful candidate will need to be:
• Able to motivate and inspire children
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• Have a good sense of humour
• Committed to providing a safe and happy learning environment
• Someone who is dedicated and resilient
• Someone who can create an atmosphere in which children can succeed
• Be experienced in delivering activities one to one with specific children
