PLC Software Development Engineer Requirements: Experience of developing PLC, HMI and SCADA software: Primarily - Siemens TIA Portal Followed by - Allen Bradley Logix platform Other PLC Brands also can be useful Design of HMI Graphical Interface Integration of networking & Data systems VFD configuration & commissioning Safety Certified Software Experienced in commissioning and fault finding on automated systems. Attitude and ability are as important as experience, so a quick learner with a good base from the above experiences will be of interest. Although the role will primarily be office / workshop based it will also involve travel for fault finding/commissioning etc. as and when required. Desirable: Time Served background with good hands-on Skills & Experience. Electrical & Instrumentation Systems Engineering Qualifications & Experience. Experienced in use of Autocad, Eplan or similar design tools. Familiarity with machinery safety issues such as, SIL & Design Risk assessments.
