We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Social Housing Plumber to join a client of ours maintenance team and contribute to the maintenance and improvement of housing properties.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance in social housing units.
- Inspect and assess plumbing systems to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to address various property maintenance needs.
- Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Install and maintain plumbing fixtures, pipes, valves, and fittings.
- Respond promptly to plumbing emergencies and provide effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification or training in plumbing or a related field.
- Proven experience as a plumber, preferably in a social housing or property management setting.
- Knowledge of local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy materials.
- Valid plumbing license and driver's license with reliable transportation.
